Meet Seraph Victor Who Longs To Be Military Personnel As Service To God And Nigeria

Seraphs are meant to shine as the morning stars, also we have been instructed to always pray for the peace of our Jerusalem. We can’t only pray for peace alone, we must also work rigorously for that peace to be imminent. Such is the life of Seraph Victor Adeife Ogunbiyi, he’s not only praying for the peace of the Nation but also working towards achieving the peace through the means he considers to be the best approach; the military.

In his words during a chat with actsofseraphs.com, he said, “Although I didn’t like it from my childhood, the moment I grew up I like to be in the military”

Here is a Seraph burning with the passion to restore peace, stability, sanctity and sanity to the country by joining the military.

“My main reason for wanting to be among the military is to serve my country and I noticed that we don’t have much military personnel in the fold which isn’t supposed to be. If we are running away from politics because it is a dirty game, then why not join the military because there is no way a government can work without the military”, stated Seraph Victor.

The Civil engineering student of The Polytechnic, Ibadan who worships at Ona Iwa Mimo, C&S church, Jesu Ngbala, Owode Oyo, is no doubt an active Seraph in the works of the Father.

He was a one-time Brother’s Coordinator during 2014/2015 session at The Polytechnic, Ibadan-Eruwa Campus, now called The Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa. He also functions as one of the Sunday School teachers in his church, a member of the Brigade and one of the district executives. He likewise served as “Mr Unification” of the youth fellowship C&S church, 2017-2018 at the youth fellowship, Oyo zone.

1 Tim 4:8 NLT says “physical training is good but training for godliness is much better promising benefits in this life and in the life to come”. Being an active member of the fold has not only helped Seraph Victor physically, but it has also aided his spiritual growth. Being duty-bound to fast and intercede for the male fold as the Brother’s Coordinator has not only enhanced his spirituality but helped him work on himself as a leader; things he could not do prior his ordination as the brother’s cord.

“Before I went to school, I couldn’t fast till 9 am not to talk of fasting till 6 pm, but along the way, it’s a must for me to fast as brother coordinator should be praying for the brother’s upkeep. And also, it gives me boldness, before when I was at home I couldn’t face the congregation not to talk of student fellowship where there are lots of students. It also gives me the morale of leadership, because when we are talking about leadership is not a simple task, I was able to control myself before controlling the brothers in the church.

“Being a Seraph is totally an opportunity for me, and I’m really happy I was born into this fold, not that I joined”, said Seraph Victor.
What a testimony how life got transformed doing the work of the Father!

As the scriptures say that we should always be ready to give an answer to everyone that asks of the reason of our hope, Seraph Victor is an ardent defender of the faith and of the doctrine of the fold. In a discussion with our correspondent, he stated that a member of other denomination once questioned the use of incense by the fold and he made the fellow understand that the use of incense is symbolic and biblical. “Anywhere incense is being burnt is holy and the incense also has the power to take our prayers to heaven without hindrance”.

The lover of the blue and white colour is also a lover of the Word. He recounted that his most memorable day was the National Youth Convention of Ona Iwa Mimo, Nigeria and Overseas, held at Mowe, Ogun state. He said he enjoyed the series of lectures that were taken there and also got to meet people from different states.

According to his popular saying and driving words; “this life is a preparation for the next life”, he encourages the C&S youth to be steadfast in the work of the Father, lives a holy and righteous life in Christ and not misquote the scriptures to suit any wrong pattern of living. He also suggested the need for constant seminars and lectures for the youth which will further remind them of who they are; the glory and leaders of the fold.

He further admonished the C&S fold to be in unity and love one another and not use the Paul and Apollo approach when relating to one another.

Conclusively, that is a wrap for this edition of Seraph of the Week, follow us on our social media platform if you haven’t. Stay tuned next week as we unveil the profile of another giant seraph in the fold, He fit be you ooo.
