As a worker in God’s vineyard, most especially in the choir Ministry, always have the mindset that you are in the choir Ministry to sing, impact, use what you have to praise God, and move people’s heart to an intimate worship with God.
Believe me skills are needed too
Often times, people in the choir find it more interesting praying and doing some unnecessary things forgetting to rehearse and improve on more things to add to the ministry and through this they tend to forget or neglect their primary priority of being in the choir.
I am not condemning praying, neither am I condemning chit chats, but remember there is time for everything under the surface of the earth.

If you have zeal for choir, bring out the zeal in you because this was what prompted you to join the ministry.
With zeal, and being fervent in Spirit, serve the lord with all our heart.
If someone wants to be a chorister, he or she should join the choir ministry, if prayer warrior, join the prayer ministry and if its an evangelist then join the evangelism ministry.
Someone onced ask me what if he / she is an intercessor for the ministry?
The answer is every choir member is an intercessor for the ministry.
Revelation 4 vs 8
Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under his wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.” (NIV)
Note that; they never stopped singing holy holy holy… the four living creature had other ways to praise God with skills.
This was what John saw anyway when he was showed.
Who knows if there is another way they do it to show that God alone is to be praised?
Music is wide same as the choir Ministry.
Now that you have the opportunity to be in the choir Ministry, which many wished for but they are not part, so put your membership to good use.
You can find a good time to pray and another time to sing or use the instrument for improvement. It would help you grow and not remain stagnant as the world evolves positively.
If I were to be in evangelism ministry, I am very sure I will so study to show myself extremely approved and this calls for diligency in what you choose to do.
Have the understanding that anointing is available for everyone once you have joined.
But where is the skill to show forth the anointing? Anointing without skills?
The more you pray should be the more you should rehearse as a chorister.
David was a great musician, a great instrumentalist, assuming he was not skillful with the anointing upon him as described in the bible he wouldnt have been called upon by King Saul and the anointing upon him worked as he has developed himself in playing of strings thereby driving away the devil whenever he plays the strings, all glory to God.

You can do it, don’t be discouraged
