Her name is Tamar.
She is a beauty to behold, inwardly and outwardly, fair in complexion with an eyeball glowing like sunlight. A princess, one of the pulchitridinous daughter of the monarch ruler of israel begotten by one of the king’s various queens. The mighty King David of Birmingham.
It was so hard to believe that with all the affluence, rich lifestyle and her astonishing beauty, this daughter of David was a virgin. There are very few women in such her position who would still honor God, the English palace laws and respect her father; His Majesty King David of Isreal. Her virgin story was cut short and dwindled by the evil act of her step brother: Amnon.
Amnon, who was also a prince sought advice from his friend and cousin, Jonadab about his step sister Tamar. He told him about his growing feelings for her and how he can not take his mind off her beauty and the savour of her untouched virginity. Jonadab helped him devise a cunning way to rape Tamar.
On that fateful evening, Amnon playing to the script sent a message to his royal majesty King David of Birmingham informing the monarch ruler of his faked sickness, and requesting that his step sister Amnon be allowed to come and make dinner for him at his residence in the Palace Residential Area (PRA). Amnon did not request a medical doctor from the palace in Birmingham nor did he request for movement to the palace medical facility. The king granted this request and Tamar was sent to Amnon’s villa at the Palace Residential Area (PRA).
Tamar went as instructed, met her brother in the bedroom. She prepared dinner for him and proceeded to serve him on the dinning. He demanded that his food be brought to him in the bedroom and that the security officers on guard should leave the main building. Tamar innocently did as instructed, after all he was her brother and the likely heir to the throne and she would not want to disobey him. On getting to his room, Amnon dragged her to bed, she pleaded with him to let her go and begged furiously. Amnon overpowered her because he was stronger than her and raped her. After his awful act, called his personal aides and ordered that they throw her out. The aides threw her out and locked the door.
The King David of Birmingham heard the news with his entourage. In no time, the news was all over the social media, the palace press had leaked the abominable act even thought the king decided not to comment on the act. He was angry but he did not reproach Amnon. The shocking news got to Absalom (another King David’s son and likely heir to the throne). Absalom saw this awful act as a dishonor to the throne, disrespect to the palace laws, ridicule to his sister and that the King’s decision not to punish Amnon amounted to denial of justice and an issue of bad precedence.
Absalon, full of rage started a rebellion against the king, he organized a coup that killed his prime target Amnon and fled into exile.
