It was another remarkable outing on Tuesday, January 30, as Pastor Mrs. Seyi Bakare convened the 2024 edition of the annual Operation 7 – 7 programme tagged: All Round Dominion.
This year’s gathering also witnessed yet another increase in the number of attendees who overflowed in and outside the premises of the expansive 3000-capacity Daylan event centre along Eleyele-Poly road, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
However, the expectations of the devotees who religiously filed into the venue were undoubtedly met as the guest ministers took them through rounds of spiritually impactful sessions.
From Oluwalonibisi to Dare Pop, Elizavocat, Funmi Voice of Praise, Yokun Praiz, Harmony Brazz, Unstoppable Oba Eri SOG and Lady Evangelist Bukola Akinade, the song ministers were at their best for God as they take turns to minister while the crusade lasted.
The host, Pastor Bakare, also opened the floor with powerful prayer points and prophetic declarations, part of which were also raised during the drama ministration.
Thereafter came earth-shaking and compelling prayer ministrations by Prophet Claudius Olaiya and Prophet Moses Labade. The ministrations which came up at intervals were not without corresponding energetic responses from the worshippers who adorned white prayer gowns and attires alike.
Reverend Edward Alabi during the word ministration gave insight into the theme of the programme with a focus on the book of Genesis
The cleric who specifically listed the names of those who had all-around dominion in the generation of the Israelites said God’s blessings had nothing to do with gender or birth order.
“He does not reveal who He will use to anybody. We are not people that are qualified but what He does is – He qualifies us by His grace. If it is by qualification, we are not worthy. It is not about academics, wisdom or strength but by His anointing,” he added.
The crusade soon headed for a climax when Prophet Sam Ojo stepped on the podium and kept the whole atmosphere charged for close to two hours, dishing out breathtaking prayer points.
This was after the cleric had initially prepped the minds of the congregants with exhortation, citing scriptural references relating to the theme of the programme.
Other highlights of the crusade include a special rendition by the choir of Sacred C&S Oluwamayomikun parish and testimonies by individuals who made some requests before God during the last edition.
Another high point of the event was the presentation of an award to Pastor Seyi Bakare as an outstanding role model in systematic evangelism by the New Seraph Evangelical Ministries.
Some of the attendees also stepped out to give their lives to Christ Jesus during an altar call.
With the event centre still filled to the brim, the programme rounded off some minutes past 7 am, as Prophet Micheal Fakinle made the final declarations.
Amazed at the massive crowd this year, Pastor Bakare said the turnout was recorded without free transportation to the venue.
She said, “The turnout this year was amazing. We made no provision for transportation and people came in large numbers. I call the God of Moses Orimolade and people who are from other denominations attend the programme. The area pastor of a popular Pentecostal church came from Lagos and after God gave him a child through this programme, he came with ten others this year. I give God all the glory and I believe that He is going to do more next year.”
The programme is powered by the trio of Gboromiro Prayer Ministry, Men and Women of Prayer Mission and the Sacred C&S, Oluwamayomikun Parish all headed by Pastor Seyi Bakare.
