Agbojesu arrests man for selling Ark of Covenant at Agelu
A yet-to-be-identified man has been apprehended at the ongoing Agelu convention for selling self-made Ark of Covenant boxes to people.
This was disclosed during the Night of Redemption vigil held on Monday which is the first day of the programme.
A member of the Conference secretariat while making an announcement said the suspect was accosted and picked up by the Army of Salvation.
The cleric, therefore, warned the congregation and other unsuspecting attendees to be wary of buying “ark of problem” and to report other people transacting such business at the convention.
He also announced that the Conference had enacted a law that banned churches from carrying Ark of Covenant in the name of the name Agbojesu.
He said, “While the founder of Agbojesu was alive, there exists only one Ark of Covenant. And you will see that what gives Agbojesu a bad name in the public is the issue surrounding the Ark of Covenant. For this reason, it is now written in our constitution that we have only one Ark of Covenant which is in Agelu.
“If anyone wishes to own it, it is not from Agelu Jerusalem. If such a person does anything wrong with the Ark of Covenant and is arrested in the process, don’t mention Agbojesu’s name because we have just one Ark of Covenant.”
