Pastor (Mrs) Mosebolatan Ajayi of Kingscourt Cherubim and Seraphim Church has enjoined fellow sisters in the fold to be good role model in every sense of life – to the children, church members and everyone in the society.
She said every woman should be godly with reference to the book of Proverbs 31 which speaks of a woman whose virtues are inestimable.
According to her, “We must be a Mandate-driven person like Deborah. Judges 5:7 says The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel”. God has given everyone an assignment in His Kingdom so we must run with it , exhibiting utmost responsibility, humility and selflessness.”
She further stated that every Christian woman should see herself as a pillar in the house of God . “What is the role of a pillar? A pillar gives support to structures where it exists. Wherever we find ourselves, we should support the system and everyone there. We should be a builder. Proverbs 14:1 says Every wise woman builds her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. Do not engage in pulling down, bible says it is only a fool that does such. Engage in positive, godly activities that expands God’s kingdom and your local assembly.” She added.
While quoting Proverb 3:5&6, she urged female Seraphs to always seek God’s face for leading at the point of decision making, as He knows the end from the beginning.”
She also advised on the need to let the world see godliness in them like biblical Esther who was firm , selfless and ready to die for the rescue of her people.
On Esther’s humility, she said, “Woman, be humble! Bible says before honour is humility. When you humble yourself before God, He will lift you.”
