We wish to call your attention to the parody social media accounts used by fraudsters who disguise as Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi to swindle unsuspecting members of the public.
This is coming on the heels of an attempt by such Facebook account user to swindle a member of Acts Of Seraphs crew.
The Account, namely “Rev Mother”, we discovered, has the female cleric’s picture on its profile, just as it has pictures of events she attended, lately, on its wall.
Their stock in trade is to slide into one’s DM and introduce themselves as the real Mama Esther Ajayi, hence requesting that you pay a sum of money into a particular account for the purpose of supporting orphanage home.
Meanwhile, so much that Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi will not go to such ridiculous level in charging to give, it is important that you know such request can only come from a TRICKSTER.
There is no gainsaying the fact that these unscrupulous elements are leveraging on Iya Adura’s constant charge on giving which is also known to be her trademark.
It is, however, worrisome that many may have fallen victims of such scam; we hereby advise that you be on the lookout for Facebook requests or any social media account that strangely bears Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi, so as not to fall prey of fraudsters’ activities. We also urge those who are insistent on meeting with Iya Adura for one reason or the other to ensure they follow the right channel so as not to play into their hands.
The details of the fraudster in question have been traced to a Union Bank account which he sent to effect such transaction.
Attached are pictures of the account and the conversation that ensued.
Once Again, BEWARE and share as much as you can for others to be aware.
