In the wee hours of Saturday, July 25, 2020, Snr. Superintendent Apostle Elijah Olufemi Adepoju, transited to eternal glory. His sudden demise, without doubt, came to many in the C&S fold as a rude shock.
Meanwhile, Seraphs across board had since mourned his passing. Torrent of tributes had also poured in for him via the social media space in the last couple of days.

- He was born and bred in Lagos at No. 75 Ibadan street Ebute Metta; an address which has a historic link with the entire C&S Church. It is also where the National Headquarters of The Eternal Scared Order of Cherubim & Seraphim is located.
- His father was late Snr. Superintendent Apostle Joseph Adegbola Adepoju, a General Secretary of the C&S fold during late baba Aladura Ogunkunle’s tenure.
- His mother, Prophetess Caroline A. Adepoju, is the present Iyalode Serafu of The Eternal Scared Order of Cherubim & Seraphim (Mount Zion).
He was until his demise:
- The Assistant Secretary of Eternal Scared Order of Cherubim & Seraphim (Mount Zion) Conference.
- The author of the Sunday School manual of Eternal Scared Order of Cherubim & Seraphim (of the both mother church)
- One of the pioneer members of the Youth fellowship of C&S Unification Church of Nigeria.
- The National Youth Coordinator of Eternal Youth Fellowship.
- The Deputy Elder in charge of C&S Oke Ibukun Branco (Happy family) Ikorodu.
- The Adviser to the Army of Salvation of Eternal Scared Order of Cherubim & Seraphim (Mount Zion).
- He has a Bible School called JASFEM.
