Recently, the Youth fellowship C&S Unification Church Nigeria, Lagos State chapter, held her second edition of Business Hangout; a programme put up to build the capacity of members in the area of business and, as such empower them with grants. Unlike the maiden edition, this year’s took a new dimension, as four youths received the grant of a hundred thousand naira each. Though, the initial plan was to empower just one youth, but the guest speakers and some of the special guests present at the event were impressed with the development and decided to contribute their quota. The beneficiaries emerged with the best proposals among numerous entries after a thorough scrutiny by the panel constituted by the fellowship. Speaking with with Acts of Seraphs, the four beneficiaries shared their thoughts on the programme, as well as their plans.

(I) Business Hangout is a good development in the fellowship.
(II) In all sincerity I don’t know I will be chosen. I will say I’m an Ambassador ogre Grace.
(III) I was happy, that night I didn’t eat at home, I give thanks to God all through.
(IV) To erect my own shop. I have been into mobile barbing for a while. With the grant I have started making of my own shop. I will share the photo with you.

(I) Business hangout was a great gathering I didn’t regret signing up, I learnt a whole lot during the program. I understood more of how to swim with sharks in my line of business, also helped me to learn how I could grow among sharks in business.
(II) No, I didn’t expect I will emerge as a beneficiary. Funnily enough I forgot that I applied for the grant not until I received a call from Mr Segun Odufuwa a day before the hangout informing me that I emerged as one of the beneficiaries.
(III) I feel so happy because I could see part of my major plan for my business being achieved within a short period of time.
(IV) I plan to use it for Nafdac registration of my flour products

(I) The business hangout and the process through which the beneficiaries emerged was fantastic.
(II) No, i did not and never expected i was going to emerge as a beneficiary
(III) I was surprised and overwhelmed and it was like a dream
(IV) Like i said in the form i fill, I’ll use it to buy more seed and fertilazer to increase the produce from the farm

(I) Business Hangout is a program and a platform created in equipping the youths by Empowerment, mentorship and a chance of meeting people of same Goals and Desire for C&s Growth generally.
(II) On a reality, I never see myself losing out, but at the same time as human, I never expected the huge miracle that occured… I was just carefully answering all questions and praying along that the year can start well with such blessings. In all I see favor from God.
(III) Seeing myself standing in front of Seraphs Leaders and intelligence men, all I was saying in my spirit man is God, only you have the remote to the heart of Kings.
(IV) Already my first mission is getting a Nafdac registeration for my everyday products (Chinchin and Chips) in order to break the limit of expansion. While the balance will be added to the capital to increase production.
