C & S members shine at NMMA, win Editor,  Features writer of the year Awards

Two members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Seraphs Adedayo Oketola and Olamide Famuwagun have emerged as winners at the 31st edition of the Nigeria Media Merit Award (NMMA).

The event was held on Sunday at the Shell Grand Functions Hall of the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.

Seraph Oketola, the Editor of Punch Newspapers and a member of Cherubim and Seraphim Bible Ministry, was declared the Dele Giwa Prize for Editor of the Year.

Seraph Famuwagun, a member of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Zion branch, Ojodu, won the Abubakar Imam Prize for Newspaper Features Writer of the Year, also for the PUNCH Newspapers with the story, “Otto Ilogbo: Lagos slum where parents lament children’s mysterious disappearances.”

Seraph Oketola is a member of Seraphs Media and a supporter and adviser of Adura International Magazine.

 Famuwagun, on her part, is a member of the Acts of Seraphs team with multiple stories to her credit, including the notable interview with Seraph Mary Olakulehin aka JEWOR on the need for a ministry for the deaf in the C&S church.
