It was an atmosphere filled with praise and thanksgiving at Cherubim and Seraphim Christ Covenant Church, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State as she celebrates 14 years of God’s faithfulness.
The year 2019 anniversary with the theme; “For the palace is not for man but for the Lord God (1 Chronicles 29:1) attracted dignitaries and men of God from far and near.
In his sermon, Primate Dr Luke Babasanya JP said the palace, being a glorious place attracts tribulations, therefore one who wants to inherit it needs power.
According to him, “becoming a man of God is not an easy task, except one is ordained by God. David said to the congregation that Solomon his son was young, and the work is great. But it is not by age! “
He said further that if there’s no help for one who wants to inherit the palace, then he might not be chanced, so everyone praying to attain greater heights must be close to God.
Primate Dr Babasanya added that every glorious person is faced with one tribulation or the other. He therefore advised the congregation that whenever they are in such situation, they should desist from uttering negative words to themselves but call on Jesus who alone can deliver them.
The founder of the church, Mother Cherubim Adejoke Abioye thanked God for the journey so far, and prayed for more grace to function.
