The spiritual heads of constituent churches under the umbrella body of C&S unification church of Nigeria have expressed delight over the developments witnessed so far in the fold.

They, as well, beamed with optimism of greater developments that are set to abound in no distant future.

Speaking with Acts Of Seraphs in a random interview conducted at the 94th anniversary held at Seraphim land last weekend, the spiritual heads urged members of the fold to eschew vices capable of threatening the unity of the church.

In a sheer expression of gladness, the spiritual head of the Eternal Sacred Order, His Eminence Dr. Pro. M.I.O Ebahor-Ebiri (JPil) said joy fills his heart in witnessing the developments in the C&S church, particularly at the Seraphim land. He said such development was not so about 10 years ago, adding that the joy will be greater in years to come.

Elder Ebahor also appealed to the youths saying, “they should  practice love as God is love and those who worship God should do so in spirit in and in truth.  Father and son are not divided so why should we divide ourselves?” he queried.

In the same vein, His Eminence, Elder Lekan Akintayo of the Holy Church of C&S gave gratitude to God for the advancement in the fold. He envisaged that things would have taken a better shape by the time the fold turns 100 years.

“When it is hundred years, we hope a lot more would have been achieved. We think before then, our university must have been functioning and some other things in the offing will come alive.” He asserted.

He, however, urged seraphs not to drift away from the vision of the founding fathers, as it borders on evangelism. He said, “We should not forget our mission as a church to impact the church positively. We are not to be evangelised by the world but to evangelize to the world.  You see, today, there are many churches but the spiritual impact is not there. We should not think of outward success alone but the spiritual success of the church. We should be able to combine the two.” He added.

In a similar tone as Baba Ebahor, His Grace Baba B.A Owoeye, of the Holy Messiah Church urged members of the church to live in harmony. While thanking God for how far the church has progressed, he also commended the leadership role of the supreme head of the church, His Most Eminence Pro (Dr) Solomon Adegboyega Alao JPil.

“We thank God there has been progress with the unification of curches in the fold. Everything we do should be in unity. We thank God for where we were coming from, where we are under the leadership of Baba Alao and what the future holds for us.” He said.

On his part, the spiritual head of the Solution C&S church otherwise known as African Jerusalem, His Eminence Pro. Dr. Gideon Adebare Owoseni (Jpil) was thankful to God that the vision of St. Moses Orimolade Tunolase is being actualised with the developments that abound in the fold. He said by the time the church becomes 100 years, the vision would have been totally actualised. “The whole world will also know by then that the church is the much talked about last ark of salvation.” He added.

Elder Owoseni however urged those who identify with the church, yet, put up questionable characters to “desist from what they did not inherit from St. Moses Orimolade Tunolase when he was alive.” He also prayed that God should take away the bad eggs spoiling the image of the church.

Also lending his voice, His Eminence Baba Aladura Julius Odeniran (Jpil) says he was glad to witness this year’s anniversary which surpassed the previous ones, coupled with the level of improvement. He also thanked God for preserving the life of Baba Olori and, as well, permitting such to happen under his leadership.

According to him, by the time the church turns 100 years, the university would have been ready. He also expressed optimism in the future of C&S youths, who he claimed, are committed and the feat they would have achieved by then.

Equally, Baba Aladura E.I Oladeinde of Mount Horeb commended the efforts of eminent seraphs for their contributions to the advancement of the church. With specific reference to Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi, the spiritual head said she has pojected the glory of seraphs, overtime.

He added that he is more assured that the glory of Seraphs will shine the more in years to come.

Meanwhile, in a separate interview, the youth president of CSMC Amazing Grace, Bro Olusesi Joseph, says his expectations as the church adds another year is increase in love and unity amongst seraphs.

He said our fathers of faith should revisit their mission and vision of the church, just as they should focus on capacity building for the youths in C&S.

According to him, every uncertainty that has given us setback in the pursue of the things of God should be eradicated.

He also added that what is not acceptable scriptural should not remain in C&S.

He therefore advised that seraphs should pursue a course that will bring light into C&S so that men would see the Glory of our Father in Heaven.
