The Deputy Superintendent of Faith Mission C&S church Inc., Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye has extolled the virtues of women in the Cherubim and Seraphim church, saying their commitment and passionate moves have earned the church a positive facelift.
She made the submission in commemoration of the annual International Women’s Day observed on the 8th of March, 2019.
International Women’s Day which is celebrated globally is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights.
Speaking with Acts Of Seraphs, the female cleric pointed out that the roles of women as mothers and their efforts in sustaining the evangelism spirit of the church, with no exception to empowerment of seraphs are feats that cannot be overemphasized.
Her words: “As of today, the place of our Mothers in the facelift of our dear C&S Church cannot be overemphasized; check out the various giant strides made of late, ranging from evangelism to empowerment in all spheres, towards taking our dear church to the expected height as Divinely Blessed by God Almighty. They are the ones moving and shaking the affairs as ordained in our time.
“You would recall that our image as a church was which many are not proud of, but right now, we have so many wanting to identify with the church due to the good things coming out of our Nazareth – C&S church”
“As we speak, we can boldly say that C&S Church, through some passionate moves by some of our great women, has experienced positive facelift.”
While speaking on thier social responsibilities, Sholoye charged the women and their male counterpart not to rest on thier oars as the church still has much grounds to cover.
According to her, the need to remain focus in such capacity is key, even in the face of noise and distraction.
“As per Social Responsibilities, obviously, the church still has so many areas to look into, but in all, one would just have to beseech our current frontliners (both Women and Men) not to relax in anyway.
“Noise” and “Distractions” are bound to surface. Yes! But see! They just have to continue because we are almost getting to our peak – the place we actually belong.” said she.
In the areas of spiritual responsibilities, Sholoye stressed on the need to “also dwell on our advantage of Grassroot Emancipation For Christ; taking the message of Christ Jesus and all it takes to win souls for God, to those who do not even have access to today’s Technologies such as gadgets like phones, internet, computers just to mention but a few”
“It is our duty to also lay more emphasis on our advantage as a true Pentecostal indigenous church by ensuring that all programmes like vigils, revivals, and other prayer oriented gatherings called are strictly designed with no traces of Jamboree or Carnival.” She adde
