C&S Unificationist emerges AAUA SUG President

 

Members of Cherubim and Seraphim Church Unification Campus Fellowship, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko chapter were filled with gladness, as one of them emerged president of the institution’s Students Union Government (SUG).

Obagunwa Oluwasegun Daniel, popularly known as Supreme is a final year student of the department of Guidance and Counseling of the faculty of education.

Obagunwa won with 1661 votes out of the 3839 students’ votes cast, while the first runner up had 963 votes. The other two contestants had 915 and 283 votes respectively.

Obagunwa since he gained admission into the University has been an active member of the fellowship whom other members described as a man with great vision and good character.

It is worth to note that the fellowship had produced members at the SUG level at one session or the other. The closest to the apex position was Sis. Aderonke Akande who emerged as the Vice President.
