The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Yola District, Adamawa State has concluded its 2023 annual retreat.
The retreat tagged, “Walking on the Higher Ground (Eph 1:20-21)” was well attended by participants from branches across the state and also from Taraba State which falls under the District.
The three-day programme which started on Friday, August 10 through Sunday, August 13, featured ministration from the Children Department, Youth Fellowship, Choir, Good Women, Pastor’s Council and the Evangelical Council.
Lectures were also delivered on topics such as Disciple framework for youth and called ministries, Financial management issues in family and church organisation, Maintenance of personal health and wellness, Vital tools for church growth, and Strategies for effective leadership and church growth.
On the sideline of the retreat was the ordination of some members of the District which was presided over by the District chairman, Professor Augustine Odinma.
Professor Odinma, who represented the Spiritual Head of CSMC Worldwide, His Grace Most Rev’d S.A Abidoye, admonished the ordained to see their new roles as a call to work for kingdom expansion and not for self-gain.
The congregation also showered prayers on the newly ordained.
