Fake Prophets: Not Everyone In White Garment Is C&S, Baba Olori Tells Journalists

The Supreme Head, Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria His Most Eminence, Dr. Prophet Solomon Adegboyega Alao JP has urged journalists to make thorough findings while filing any of their reports that has to do with white garment churches.

The cleric made this known at the just concluded maiden Seraph Media Summit which held at Seraphim Land, Km 40, Lagos/Ibadan expressway, Maba on Saturday July 6, 2019.

Speaking against the backdrop of reports on prophets of questionable characters who taint the image of the C&S church, he clarified that not all Christians that adopt white garment as their official dressing for mode of worship are C & S.

He therefore advised that they should take pains to specify the name of the church of the offender instead of just writing a “Prophet of white garment church” has done this or that.

His words: “I admit that we have few bag eggs amongst us, though this is not peculiar to our church alone, but it is a sin for those who ought to know to use exceptional cases to brand the church for selfish reasons. We cannot divide the body of Christ. Let me say it here. Any Church, Prophet or Prophetess that goes beyond the use of water and anointing oil for prayers is not part of us. Anybody who engages in blood-rituals or idolatry practices is not part of us because Jesus has shed his blood for us on the cross of calvary and no other blood is acceptable again.

“I agree that we have to do some self assessments and deal decisively  with impersonators (fake Prophets/Prophetesses) within the ambit of the law. Some of them are not known to us and did not have a certificate of registration. Let me quickly inform the members of the Press that not all Christians that adopt white garment as their official dressing for mode of worship are C & S. I urge you to take pains to specify the name of the church of the offender instead of just writing a “Prophet of white garment church” has done this or that.

While speaking about the church in good light, Baba Olori, as he is fondly addressed, says the church has contributed positively to the society in so many ways. He added that the fold has raised patriotic and God-fearing citizens who have contributed meaningfully to the national development without losing focus of our primary goal which is to raise candidates for the kingdom of God.

“Since 1925, salvation, miracles, signs and wonders have become part of what many have received for worshipping in or identifying with the C & S Church. Many idol worshippers have been saved and brought into last ark of kingdom.

“As we prepare to celebrate our centenary anniversary, it gladdens my heart to note that we have increased in leaps and bounds with C & S churches in all the continents of the world. Besides, we have contributed immensely to making society better by providing clinics, schools to various communities and our tertiary institution, Moses Orimolade University (MOU), Omu Aran, Kwara State will soon take off.

“Our church, since inception had raised many patriotic and God-fearing citizens who have contributed meaningfully to the national development without losing focus of our primary goal which is to raise candidates for the kingdom of God. The Bible says, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall have the whole world and lose his own soul? (Mk 8:36).

According to him, with all C & S church has done to provide spiritual and physical supports for humanity, it is unbelievable that many take joy in tagging the church in ungodly names which negate the essence of our church.

We are pleading with them to fear God. After all said and done in some measures, we are unquestionably, the role models setting the pace for others, he stressed.
