Many indigenous churches have sprouted in times past and made their landmark in several part of the world. The Cherubim and Seraphim Church has become a force to reckon with amidst them all.
Right from its inception in 1925 by St. Moses Orimolade Tunolase, the church seem to continuously grow and spread to every nook and cranny of the earth. Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion. Without a doubt, the fold is indeed blessed by God.
The ages have come when the Cherubim and Seraphim Church has evolved from just being a home church with regular services, but has found a stronghold in Institutions of higher learning. No longer do we go about with the mentality that members of the fold are uneducated and ignorant but now we see that the truth we carry and the vision bestowed upon us tarries still and has found its place even among students.
Having been inspired by the Holy Spirit, founding fathers took it upon themselves to establish this legacy which started first in Obafemi Awolowo University in 1980 and began to spread like wildfire until more than 80 Universities caught the spark and made their own fire.
Before 1980, Students who were members of the church must have had a slightly tough task adjusting – being a member of C&S at home and having to attend another service in school. But what can ever suffice a common ground? Seminars, symposia, revivals, sub-conventions and conventions have been adopted to develop, educate and train undergraduates.
We cannot but acknowledge that this fold continues to unfold kingdom mysteries on earth and  The Cherubim and Seraphim Church Unification Campus Fellowship seems to expand its horizon day after day.
The Central Executive Council (CEC) being the governing body of the campus fellowship continually strive to ensure that students in their various Institutions understand the common goal of the existence of the church which is a command from heaven’s court derived from the C&S hymnal  “Apalase lagbala Orun” (chorus).
The motto for the fold is extracted from the scripture (Ecclesiastes 12:1) Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth.
Who could have thought that this amazing fold would crystalize to this level. The blessings of God is continually renewed and our generations are indeed evergreen.
