How CSCF Grows In Leaps And Bounds, Hoteyin reveals

The epoch where Seraphs were conservatives has gradually faded away and now we are in the season of outright take over.

This was evident in the submission of the National Expansion Secretary of Cherubim and Seraphim Corpers Fellowship (CSCF), Bro John Hoteyin, as he shed light on the existence of a C&S fellowship amidst the National Youth Service Corps members in Nigeria.

In a chat with Acts Of Seraphs, Hoteyin said that the movement started as a result of a pressing need for Seraphs to spread to every nook and cranny of the nation and diaspora.

CSCF comprises youths who are observing their service year. While the most senior serving Corpers are referred to as “Golden Members”, those who have concluded their service year are called “Gold Members”.

According to Huteyin, the establishment of the fellowship was to ensure that the C&S youths are recruited, taught and trained through capacity building activities and mentorship that will make them earthly relevant and become true disciples of Christ by directing their youthful skills and talents toward righteous use hence, becoming extremely valuable to the C&S church at large and the world.

CSCF has grown across nation, just as it currently operates in over 18 states across the federation and still seeks to grow in leaps and bound in a bid to be everywhere in Nigeria and the diaspora.

Huteyin further stated that CSCF National is the unifying source, channel of cooperative operation and interpersonal relationship for all CSCF State Chapters. This, he said, is the reason behind activities such as Zonal Retreats, State Conference and National Conferences.

It is the means through which CSCF reach out to cooperative relationships with National C&S Youth Bodies and other C&S Organizations at National level. This has made it possible to create a quality network for the C&S Youth wing as a whole, he added.

Speaking on the advantages of the Corpers fellowship to students in campus, he said: “Every Student on campus eventually gets to final year stage where they are prepared for NYSC clarion call to serve the nation. CSCF National through our online social media, contact links, open conferences/programs and public awareness offer students the opportunity to be informed ahead of the period of NYSC service year, locating the camp in the states they are being posted to, getting first hand welfare and/or accommodation during their service year and also if they wish to stay more years in such states to establish a new life.”

“CSCF also works hand in hand in helping students locate the C&S Churches in such states. In all, CSCF helps lessen the casualty of loosing our youths to other denominations during this period of service year.” He added.

On how new branches are formed he said: “CSCF Establish chapters otherwise known as Corpers’ lodge/family house in all states of the federation as well as any other place of worship outside the country for special purposes. The fellowship aspires to establish Chapters in all States in Nigeria through the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL {NEC}.

“Cherubim and Seraphim Corpers’ gathering not established by the fellowship but which seeks to affiliate to it, are considered and registered into the CSCF National by the NEC.To establish new chapters in any state, C&S Corps members who are able to identify each other till they meet an attendance of 5 to 7 persons can inform and invite the CSCF national through our available contacts.”

“The CSCF National would in turn visit and help establish such state chapter, hand over needed documents and also link the new branch with one of the available partnering C&S Churches in such a state. The CSCF National would further help in spreading awareness on the existence of such new state chapter nationwide and also serve as a check on the activities carried out for improvement and development sake.” He revealed.
On Unification Church of Nigeria as mother body, he said CSCF is affiliated and Submissive to C&S Unification Church of Nigeria.
