Kogi Govt Appoints Seraph As State Chapel Music Director

The Kogi state government has appointed a member of the Cherubim and Seraphim church, Seraph Tobi Bello, as the music director of the state chapel in the government house.

Seraph Tobi of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Lokoja District headquarters, was sworn in on Wednesday alongside the Chaplain of the chapel by the deputy governor, Edward Onoja.

His appointment was said to have followed the recommendation of the immediate past chairman of the International Youth Fellowship of CSMC, Pastor Shola Owoyemi.

According to the current President of the youth fellowship, bro Oresanya Oluwaseun, who made the development known to the public on Thursday, Owoyemi was contacted by the secretary to the state government to provide a slot for the position.

Although, Seraph Tobi’s choice was initially met with stiff opposition from the state executive, but for the insistence of Pastor Owoyemi.

Prior to his appointment, the Kogi state born seraph presides over the youth chapel of the Organization of African Instituted Churches, OAIC.

He also doubles as the Director of National issue of the Youth Wing of Christians Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Kogi state.
