If I hadn’t been a Seraph I don’t know where I might have been today, because it has really helped me a lot… Seraph Oluwaseun Owolabi
The Scriptures in Acts 2 has it that when the disciples had the baptism of fire at the upper room, they became transformed souls and did manifest God’s glory across the world even till now. Such is the story of Seraph Oluwaseun Owolabi, a CAC member turned Seraph.
In an interview with Acts Of Seraphs, Seraph Oluwaseun, also known as Ajara Tooto, disclosed she became a Seraph right after she was invited by a friend to a worship service at C& S Movement Church Ondo District Headquarter, Ayo ni, Lisaluwa, Ondo State where she fell in love with the mode of worship.
“I liked their way of worship because they worship in spirit and in truth.
More so, there was something unique in CandS that day while they were observing 12 o’clock prayer, people were in spirit, otito lemi wa ooo, otito lemi wa, kamu tiro kuro, kamu t’egan kuro nile aye’. Since then I began to have interest little by little till today that am now a full and bonafied member. Though I didn’t like white garment from the beginning, but I was repeatedly told that there are some prospects that lie ahead me in the church.”
Being a Seraph has not being without a profit for Seraph Oluwaseun, she has the comfort and the relationship of the Holy Spirit and has since then been gainfully making use of His gifts and endowments.
“Since I joined Seraphs, great things started happening! Act of Apostle 1vs8 says you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit come upon us! I noticed things become easier through the Holy Spirit! I became a prayer warrrior! Like a joke people begin to call me for prayers unknowingly. Though the road was tough but I thank God today! For the steadfastness. And since then God has been doing his work in my life and using me for his Glory”, she noted.
According to her, prior the time she became a Seraph, she had the preconceived notion that C&S rely only on ‘eto’ before works of miracles are done, but she now has a definite perspective of the fold. “I do heard they only believe and rely on soap, candle and sponge before their miracle happens.
But when I got there, in fact it’s really amazing because that’s not true! Infact many people talk behind me that me that didn’t like Seraphs will now begin to burn candle too. But I make them understand that there is salvation in Seraph, I convinced them that ‘laisi awe ati adura, ise amin kankan kole sele’ “, stated Serpah Oluwaseun.
As for Seraph Oluwaseun; she is friendly, down to earth, accommodating, easy going and fun to be with Sister. People can reach out to her for prayers and spiritual guidance even without her knowing them. She has blessed people’s lives with her spiritual gifts and nature and is still in the act.
A Prophetess by call, Seraph Oluwaseun presently worships at CSMC Ayo ni o Onikoko Abeokuta, Surulere district. She relates with members of the fold and other denominations well whom see as family; the body of Christ, “As usual, we’re One and I don’t discriminate. I make them realize we’re family, so that we can achieve our aim and goals in life.
Narrating her experiences for being a Seraph, she stated that she has been discriminated against as a result of the unbelief of men and the preconceptions of the fold which has been something to grapple with but she is nonetheless pressing on and also encourage members to portray the fold in good light. “Capital YES!I have experienced this times without numbers, to the extent that if God sends me to give anybody message somewhere, they will know deeply in their heart, that is true but the main thing they say is Awon Alaso funfun Hmmmm. Won fe gbawa ni”..
Some even say Ogun (Charm) ‘yin ti poju in Seraph’ but deeply inside me I will only say ‘awon eniyan mi nsina nitori won koni imo’ And I don’t blame them because many people are there outside there looto, the bible says ‘ninu awon eniyan mi ni eniyan ika wa”. Some Pentecostal pastors told me to come to their church, that I will be useful there, that my gift will just be wasted. But I never mind, I like Seraph’s doctrine.
Going further, she recounted another form of discrimination for being a Seraph, “That was the day I had a terrible accident on Nov 11, 2018 that almost led to death. When people began to mock that ‘they said they are going to ijo emi o and now they are finished’. But my God said, ‘asiwere wi ninu okan re pe Olorun kosi’, to the glory of God I am alive and burning in Christ”.
A native of Ifewara in the State of Osun, but born and bred in Ondo state, Seraph Oluwaseun attended Edo State Polytechnic Usen, Benin city. She was an active member of the prayer unit, and a one time Secretary of her fellowship while she was on campus, and was also an active member in school politics as she was elected as the Vice Principal of her department in 2015.
July born, her turn on are fasting and prayer while she detest lies. Her best to heart hymns is “Ninu irin ajo mi, beni mo nkorin”, while her bible verse is Psalms 95:3. Her favourite colours are white and blue, while her most memorable day was the day she started interpreting tongues for someone. Her dream is to fulfill God’s purpose for being on earth regardless of any circumstance.
Seraph Oluwaseun is profitable financially as she is in the spirit. She’s a business-oriented lady and is the CEO of a supermarket but doesn’t spare a dish of pounded yam and Egusi soup. Her best friend/role model is Proher Sanusi Olalekan, who invited her to the church where she subsequently became a Seraph.
Giving her word of advice, she encouraged Seraphs to stand firm and work for God, and to be rich in the word of God. She also implores members to be a ready help to one another in all wise, as injury to one is injury to all
