The New Covenant Cherubim and Seraphim church (Success city) Oke-Aro Matogun, Ogun state, on Sunday played host to two notable female personalities on the occasion of her annual harvest and thanksgiving service.
These include the ambassador plenipotentiary of the white garment churches, Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi and wife of the former governor of Imo state, Nneoma Okorocha.
Although, the church had extended an invitation to Mother Ajayi, but didn’t get a feedback. The female cleric however made a surprise visit in company of Mrs. Okorocha.
She soon joined the ecstatic church members who were visibly taken unawares in praising God, as they were also joined by their host, Reverend Jah Oke.
Speaking on her visit, Mother Esther Ajayi said, “When you least expect that the Lord will come, the Lord will just appear. The presence of God is here. I didn’t tell them I was coming but I decided to come down here because God wants me to be here”.
The renowned female cleric appreciated God for His steadfast love and for preserving the lives of Seraphs and all Christians at large, despite the level of insecurity and the Covid-19 health challenges. She also prayed for everyone present and blessed the programme.
On her part, Mrs. Nneoma Okorocha admonished the church to believe in one Nigeria and continually pray for the nation.
While speaking glowingly of her co-visitor, she said, “Indeed God’s presence is with Mama Esther Ajayi”. The ex first lady also brought good tidings from her husband, Rochas Okorocha, her entire family and the people of Imo state.
