MOU And The Basic Rules in Christian Science – Segun Adewumi

An historic gathering like the one held at Moses Orimolade University, Omu-Aran on 18th of January, 2019 could not be said to be a complete one without exhortation.

This was done justice to by Apostle Segun Adewumi who started his sermon with Psalm 114 verses 3, ” The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.” Apostle Segun took his audience through the book Genesis chapter 18 revealing how Sarah’s impossible situation was made possible.

He likened the story of Moses Orimolade University to Sarah’s own which seemed not to be possible but lo and behold, God has finally made it possible.

He stated emphatically that this could only be done by God who is Omnipresent- has the ability to be everywhere, Omniscience- has the capability to know everything, Omnipotent- He’s able to do everything. According to him, the aforementioned unique features show God could be at everywhere to know and do everything.

He maintained that Christianity is a science and, as such, being guided by three basic principles.

“The first one is that in Christian Science, we walk by faith not by sight and that was why Peter could walk on the sea.

“The second rule is that Christian operate not by mere information (though information is very important) but by covenant and that’s why Caleb and Joshua could see farther than ordinary giants and the third principle is that Christian science don’t work with human or government agenda but by prophetic agenda.” He added.

Apostle Segun recalled how some of his colleagues in his office eulogized the Seraph Mega Praise concert which held at the national stadium in December last year – unknown to them that another great one is ahead.

He urged all Seraphs to believe in the possibility power of God and brought his sermon to an end with prayer and declaration.
