New Seraph, JASFEM to honour Adepoju same day, different venue

…. Let’s harmonise programmes, Adewusi counsels

Following the decision of various groups  planning to honour the late Snr Superintendent Apostle Elijah Adepoju, a member of the burial planning committee constituted by the Eternal Sacred Order of C&S church (Mount Zion) has advised on the need to get in touch with the committee.

As of now, two bodies which include JASFEM and the New Seraph have fixed Tuesday September 1, to hold service of songs in honour of the departed soul.

While the alumni and Directors of JASFEM; a Bible School founded by the deceased have concluded plans to hold the service of songs at his Ikorodu residence, The New Seraph has yet to announce a location.

Acts of Seraphs on Sunday evening broke the news of late elder Adepoju’s burial date with the venue it was scheduled to hold.

While putting a call through to the platform barely 12 hours after the publication, Most Snr Apostle Yemi Adewusi expressed worries over the clash in the date fixed.

He therefore advised whoever is planning to put up any programme ahead of the burial to reach out to the central burial planning committee for proper harmonisation of dates.

“There is a need to harmonise the programmes and speak with one voice”, he said.

According to him, plans are still underway to make a final resolution on the burial, as the committee still plans to meet much later.

While confirming the burial date reported by the platform, as well as the venue, he said efforts are in top gear to accommodate plans initiated by various groups the deceased once belonged to while he was alive.

He further maintained that failure to properly harmonise the various interest may affect the burial plans, just as it would keep members of the public in a confused state as to which programme to attend.
