Seraph Segun Onifade
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has appraised the increasing level of unity among members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria.
He made the appraisal on Friday at the ongoing 2019 Annual General Conference of the church.
The conference is an assemblage of leaders and selected members of constituent churches in the fold. It is also an avenue where new constituent churches are being admitted into the Unification fold.
Osinbajo who was represented by the Chaplain to the office of the Vice President, Pastor Seyi Malomo, also sent the goodwill message of president Muhammadu Buhari.
In a sheer reference to the visit of Seraph Leaders to the presidential villa earlier in the year, he explained how president Buhari was shocked at the level of retentive memory of the supreme head, His Eminence (Dr) Prophet Solomon Adegboyega Alao on past events in the country despite his age.
The chaplain, however, disclosed that the vice president so desired to be present at the conference “especially with this great set of believers” but for the current political engagement on his part.
This was as he quoted him to have promised to be present physically upon future invitation from the church.
On his part, the supreme head appreciated the Vice President for honouring the invitation of the church. He assured him that the church will keep praying for the nation especially for success of the forthcoming election.
The supreme head also presented the newly published books by the Founder of the host church, Her Eminence (Dr.) Prophetess Marian Adeleye Akinjogunla (JP) to the chaplain.
