Sanwo-Olu seeks support for CSMC Surulere District General Leader, Ogunleye

The Spiritual Head of The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, His Eminence Baba Aladura Emmanuel Alogbo, on Saturday ordained Special Apostle Pastor G.O. Ogunleye as the new General Leader of Surulere District of the church.

 This is as the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, rally behind the District leader.

Speaking at the investiture/ordination programme held at the District Headquarters in Surulere Lagos State, the governor said elder Ogunleye possesses a wealth of experience, wisdom and vision that will inspire and enrich the church community.

Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by the secretary to the state government, Mrs Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, urged members of the church to embrace diversity and collaborate to fulfil the mission and vision of the church.

“The new leader brings with him a wealth of experience wisdom and vision that will undoubtedly inspire and enrich the church community. His love for God, dedication to the gospel, passion for unity and commitment to spiritual growth and the welfare of his flock make him a true shepherd, a beacon of hope and a catalyst for positive change. Let us remember that our strength lies in our unity, love and collaboration.

“Therefore, as a church and member of the body of Christ which must not be disjointed by anything of the world, our father must be supported by all of us, spiritually, materially and otherwise for the good of the church and his assignment as a shepherd.

“Every parish and member must thrive to foster the culture of love and understanding and support within the congregation as one big family. It is important to embrace diversity, celebrate our differences and work hand in hand to fulfil the mission and vision of the church,” the governor admonished.

The governor also expressed confidence that under the leadership of elder Ogunleye, the District will flourish and shine as a beacon of hope and inspiration.
