Seraph condemns abuse of prophetic trance on Tiktok

A self-acclaimed Seraph has condemned the indiscriminate display of spiritual trance on social media.

The middle-aged woman in a viral video seen by Acts of Seraphs, specifically criticized some supposed members of the Cherubim and Seraphim church who monetise such activity on the Tiktok platform.

She said such actions were not in line with what the founder of the church and his followers used to be known for.

She said, “I want to advice some Seraphs if they would prefer to close their worship centers and establish new ones on Tiktok. What they do is not what St. Moses Orimolade laid down. They have redefined and modified it abnormally.

“When we were young, whenever anyone in trance speaks, we put other things on hold because the secret of the Lord is with His people. But now, people bring them to Tiktok and also interprete for them there.

“Have you all forgotten how decent this was in those days? When I was young, you rarely saw anyone on such spiritual ascension journey. They are mostly kept away from the public.”

The visibly-irked woman also cautioned against the habitual use of Tiktok to ‘beg’ for gifts.

“Some of you do not even have a job, you’ll hold vigils (on social media) and display your account numbers.

“You now turn to a beggar on Tiktok by asking for gifts without shame. It is hunger that called some of you, not God. Also, some of you are predestined for a particular career but chose to attach yourselves to prophets with questionable calling,’ she added.
