Seraph songstress, Folakemi Omisope better known as Fola Sings, says God had blessed the Cherubim and Seraphim church with a lot of beautiful, purpose-driven and outstanding song ministers.
In a chat with Acts of Seraphs, Omisope shared her views about Seraph gospel artistes, saying they are firebrands and not entertainers.
She said, ” I can see God has really blessed us in the C & S fold. Seraph gospel artistes are firebrands. They do not singing to entertain. They are also very supportive of one another.”
Omisope, who is a member of C & S Idapo Alafia in Ile-Ife, Osun state, also stated that she started singing in the church choir at a tender age.
She also attributed her peculiar and energetic display when ministering as an opportunity to minister to the doings of the Holy Spirit.
“I am always aware that whenever and wherever I sing, the King of Kings is present and I like to give my all by letting the Holy Spirit take charge. He gave me the voice so I can praise him with it. Anything you see me do in my singing, is by the help of Holy Spirit not my dexterity nor the skills i have acquired but the Holy Spirit,” she said.
When asked how she felt not going past the audition stage of the Next Big Seraph, she said, “Next Big Seraph is a competition and apparently not everybody competing is going to win but I’m really glad I participated.”
She however declared that music is her life.
“Music is my life, it’s my career! It’s not just a leisure activity for me. It’s my calling,” she added.
