Seraph Media proposes establishment of English speaking churches

…recommends digital TV station for Unification
…Thanks Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi for Summit sponsorship

The time has come for the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria to encourage all its constituent churches to establish English language speaking churches, in all towns and villages, to dispel insinuations that C & S is a tribal religious organization.

Besides, the English edition of the C & S hymn book should be made available to thousands of members demanding for copies.

These were part of the recommendations of the Seraph Media on the Summit held last year on Seraphim Land Maba, Ogun State.

Addressing members of the National Executive Council (NEC) members at a virtual meeting held on Saturday, the Chief PRO of the Church, Ap. Muyiwa Adeyemi who briefed the members on the recommendations of the summit said, the church is ripe to have its digital TV station to be sited on Seraph Land, just as the summit recommended an upgrade of the PRO unit of the church to a Public Communication Directorate to be headed by a Director who will coordinate all media and publicity works of the Unification.

The Directorate, he noted will be able to work with both the NEC and Ecclesiastical Council.

It was also recommended that the Logo of the Unification should be at the left hand side of all insignia, sign posts and printed documents of all constituted churches while the logo of the units stay at the right hand side. This, this Summit said will depict the C & S as one united church and promote the logo of the Unification.

The Summit also recommended an intensive public enlightenment programs to orientate few bad eggs giving the church negative publicity just as it encourages the church to celebrate successes achieved by members to let public knows good things happening in the Holy Order.

It also tasks constituent churches to be wary of what they post on the social media and avoid contradicting the position of the church in the public.

The ten-point recommendations still await the approval of NEC and Ecclesiastical Council.

The Chief PRO specifically thanked the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the White Garment Churches, Rev Mother (Dr) Esther Abimbola Ajayi for her huge donation and physical contributions to the success of the Summit and also recognised the financial contributions of the Chief Legal Adviser of the Unification, Supt Ap. General Wale Taiwo SAN, Tuyil Pharmacy, Ilorin and Lagos State Chapter of the Unification.

The video conference, the first of its kind to be held by NEC, which was moderated by the Secretary General Ap. Olatunde Ogunkunle also took reports from the C& APC, being led by Alagba Ajose, Evangelical Committee headed by Alagba Odufunwa and Debt Recovery Committee by Supt Ap. Gen. Prophet Esan JP.
