*MEET SERAPH OLAMIDE*
Seraph Olamide Saleem is one of the passionate and vibrant youths in the Cherubim and Seraphim fold. Born into a family with deep roots in Islam, Seraph Olamide eventually grew up in church following her mother’s Christian faith.
This beautiful Seraph was shown the way of the Lord particularly in the C&S Church right from infancy by her mother, and now she can proudly call the house of the Lord her place of refuge.
Speaking with our correspondent in an exclusive interview, she disclosed her passion for C&S; “Like many other Seraphs who aren’t too proud of their identity as Seraphs, my pride for being a Seraph could make me rock my garment and girdle to any social functions”, “I don’t feel less of a Christian being a Seraph” she added. Whenever she is at home, she worships at her local church, Transformation Church of Cherubim and Seraphim Zion Oyo state.
But when in school, Seraph Olamide is an active member of C&S Unification campus fellowship of the Premier University of Ibadan in affiliation with Federal college of Education Oyo state, where she is currently studying Special education/English Studies.
Being a committed member of the C&S fold hasn’t marred her sense of humor towards members of other denominations. According to her, “I see every Christian as one; we are all edifying the one body of Christ”. She has a dream that she would one day preach the gospel of Christ to an heterogeneous and diversified people.
A lover of blue colour, her favourite bible verse is Philippians 4:13; “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”, her choiced hymn is 827 Mose Orimolade ni oluko wa…, while her philosophy about life is “When your Faith is extraordinary, your rewards from God are record breaking”Surprisingly, as spiritual and churchy Seraph Olamide seem to be, she is an upcoming career woman too.
She is into cakes and catering and she plans on establishing a company someday where she will be offering all manner of catering services to people. Maybe this passion was born out of her love for food; rice and beans.
Meanwhile, She is so passionate about giving and lending a hand of help to the needy. Little wonder her biggest admirer and role model in C&S is the philanthropic and delectable Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi.
Conclusively, Seraph Olamide is the face of actsofseraph.com for the week. Stay tuned next week as we unveil the profile of another wonderful Seraph.
