We Will Continue To Bring Bad Eggs In C&S To Light – Baba Olori

We are aware of some bad eggs in our midst as they abound elsewhere, but we are not relenting in curtailing their activities and bringing them to light.

These were the words of the supreme head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence Dr. Prophet Solomon Alao, at a press briefing which held at Faith Mission C&S Church on Monday following the commencement of the fold’s Annual General Conference.

According to him, the church which is the last Ark of Noah and  the first Pentecostal organisation remains a role model among other denominations in the Christendom even in the face of mischief in some quarters.

Speaking on the week-long event, he said it seeks to provide a unique opportunity for “representatives of Seraphs from our constituent churches  both in Nigeria and in the Diaspora to review the state of our church by examining what we have achieved together in the last one year and chart a new course for the new year.”

With the theme of the conference tagged: “Pulling Down Barriers” and culled from (Eph. 2:14), he pointed out that the fold will continue to be in the forefront to ensure the much needed, more united and indivisible church is achieved, under one shepherd to fulfill the dream of our father.

The cleric otherwise referred to as Baba Olori also urged Nigerians not to be overwhelmed by emotions and partisanship when voting a candidate at the forthcoming general election but rather pray to God to guide them at point of casting their vote.

He also appealed to political ‘gladiators’ in the country not to overheat the polity and refrain from hate speeches or do anything that will mar the credibility of the forthcoming elections.

He, however, expressed confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari in his plan to build on the fair and credible electoral process that put him in power by encouraging all the law enforcement agents to be fair and provide a level playing field.

The conference will be rounded off on Sunday, February 3, 2019 with a thanksgiving service at the headquarters of the host church, Faith Mission Cherubim & Seraphim Church Incorporated, close 16 Bridge, Satellite Town, Lagos at 10am.

 Who we are:

With the theme of this year’s conference, which is “Pulling Down The Barriers”,  we will continue to be in the forefront to ensure the much needed, more united and indivisible church is achieved, under one shepherd to fulfill the dream of our father.

I want the era of segregation to come to an end, and all true sons and daughters of St Moses Orimolade share this view. Since 1986 when the C&S Unification, the umbrella body of all C&S churches came into being with the installation of the first Supreme Head, our beloved and Revered Mother, the late Captain Abiodun Emmanuel, a lot has been achieved. And we are proud of our modest achievements. One of these achievements is the unity and peace among our churches and members.

Cherubim and Seraphim church is the last Ark of Noah and  the first pentecostal organisation. Without sounding immodest, we are also the role model in the Christendom, regardless of the mischiefs in some quarters. The fact that we are a role model in the Christendom becomes more evident when one compares our mode of service with that of other various churches in the last 20 years or so. Our doctrine are now being copied wholesomely by virtually every church both in Nigeria and in the diaspora. We are aware of some bad eggs in our midst as they abound elsewhere, but we are not relenting in curtailing their activities and bringing them them to light.

Our achievement goes further in the establishment of Moses Orimolade University (MOU) Omu Aran, Kwara State which is going to be a first class university. I was there on the 18th of January this year and God told me that the university will soon offer admission to our pioneer students. And when I am visiting again, I intend to invite you.

Our Nation

As we gradually approach 2019 elections, all of us must be on our knees everyday for God’s intervention so that the aftermath of the election will not bring chaos and anarchy. There are obvious reasons to fear in a country where every election is a do-or-die affair and in a country where defeat, no matter how convincing, is hardly conceded.

However, I believe all the gladiators and umpires will be godly enough to emulate former President Goodluck Jonathan’s and former INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega to save this country from unnecessary tension which will put off foreign investors that are very much needed. I trust  President Muhammadu Buhari that he will keep his promise to give INEC free hand to operate.

I appeal to all gladiators not to overheat the polity and refrain from hate speeches or do anything that will mar the credibility of the forthcoming elections. I also have my firm faith in the C-in-C to build on the fair and credible electoral process that put him in power by encouraging all the law enforcement agents to be fair and provide a level playing field.

I call on all Nigerians to support our leaders at all tiers of government to kill the killer disease that is bent on killing this country:That monster is corruption. I urge the President not to relent in his fight against corruption. In my opinion, the fight against this monster must begin with the politicians, the law enforcement agents and the judiciary including the learned men and women in wigs. If all these sectors of the society seriously abhor corruption, then we would have achieved a zero corruption tolerance in this country.

I wish to appeal to you all the fourth realm of the estate who should be the true ombudsman of the society to monitor and give unbiased reportage of the process leading to the election, the election proper and its aftermath. I know you operate in a very dangerous and difficult situation, but I pray God to guide and protect you to discharge your duties faithfully.

I also want to appeal to the electorates not to succumb to the temptation of selling their votes having fought hard to secure their Permanent Voters Card (PVC). On the day of the election, shortly before you cast your vote, pray to Almighty God to direct you aright.

I urge all Nigerians from today to pray daily. And the prayer point is simply as follows: That those politicians who will not add value to our democracy should fail, no matter how powerful or how hard they campaign.

May the Lord God save this country and I look forward to seeing you members of the press at our opening ceremony ‪on Thursday, 31st, at Golden Tulip hotel, Amuwo, Lagos State.

Members of the public are also cordially invited to both the opening ceremony and thanksgiving service.

Thanks and God
