The spirit of Asaph came alive last Saturday at the second edition of the Quin Choir Ransom Concert which held at The Church of the Lord, Anthony, Lagos.
The concert hosted by The Beautiful Feet Ministry had its maiden edition last year. This year’s however witnessed a massive turn out as guests in attendance cut across all denominations in the white garment churches.
The event featured resurrection Hymns like “Christ is made the sure foundation”‘, “Jesus keep me near the Cross,” “In Christ Alone My Hope is Found,” among many others which were rendered in dynamic and unique tunes. Also, special performance of the Celestial Hymn; E je ka dipo Jesu Krist Mu; Church of the Lord Aladura Hymn; E gberin ayo mi and E juba Olorun wa Jah of the Cherubim & Seraphim Church Hymn trilled the audience greatly.
There were individual performances by some churches’ choir and some musical gurus.
According to the Public Relations Officer; Bro. Rogba Ogunleye, the Quin Choir Ransom Concert is set aside to celebrate the victory of Christ over death in style and to promote the sacred hymns in the white garment churches. “There were testimonies from last year’s edition ranging from marriages, God’s divine protection, divine provision of children, jobs and so on,” he added.
