Baba Alogbo Joins Past C&S Supreme Heads in Grand Commander Honour

The Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church has honoured its late Supreme Head, His Most Eminence Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo, with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim award.

The posthumous honour was announced during the anniversary celebration held on Saturday at Seraphim Land, Maba, Ogun State.

During the announcement, the Secretary-General of the church, Senior Apostle Tayo Ajose, explained that the award was in recognition of Baba Alogbo’s contribution to the church.

Ajose said the honour followed a decision of the Ecclesiastical Council to accord the late spiritual leader the same recognition given to past Supreme Heads of the C&S Unification during the church’s centenary celebration.

He said, “During the centenary anniversary, we gave 100 Seraphs recognition awards for their contributions to the uplift and progress of the church. During the ceremony, the highest honour was given to the Supreme Heads of the C&S Unification Church.

“That is why the Ecclesiastical Council decided that they would give our spiritual head the same honour, with the faith and hope that he would be here during today’s anniversary.”

Ajose noted that the honours accorded the past Supreme Heads were also reflected in the anniversary brochure, adding that the late Alogbo was expected to receive the recognition personally before his death.

He said, “Baba would have been here to receive the honour today, but he did not have the grace to hear the decision of the council before his passing. However, God knows best.”

The award was presented by the Chairman of the National Executive Council, His Grace, Elder S.A.O. Adeoye, and received on behalf of the late Supreme Head by representatives of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, led by the Secretary-General, Snr. Sp. Ap. Prophet (Dr.) Anthony Olusesan Samaye.
