Those were the words of Pastor Olaitan Oloruntoyin otherwise known as Olit, the President of Youth Fellowship, Victory District, that regulates the affairs of renowned Youth Fellowship, House of Prosperity.
Seraph Olaitan is one of the numerous blessings God has deposited into the Cherubim and Seraphim fold. In an exclusive chat with our correspondent at actsofseraphs.com, Seraph Olaitan disclosed that though he was born into the fold, however, he carries the real identity of what the Cherubims of glory truly look like.
While speaking about the constant discrimination of the Cherubim and Seraphim fold, he revealed how he was made to bear a purnishment at place of work just because he belong to the white garment fold.
Quoting Seraph Olaitan
“I remember one day at work one of the staffs and I had disagreement on a certain issue, I reported the person to the boss, unknown to me that the boss attends the same church with the staff that offended me. The culprit was left unpunished while I was made to serve his purnishment. That was the very first time in a long time that I felt so humiliated and cheated as an individual, I was amazed the length of denominational nepotism that people exhibit. Also, there was a day that i attended a vigil in a church very close to my place of work, so I didn’t even bother to return home after the vigil instead I went straight to work with my garment. The moment the gatekeeper saw me in garment, he refused to let me in, he claimed that I had come to the work very early that day so that I can do “eto”. You can imagine those things. However, my life and ministry has been able to change most of their wrong perception about the fold, I remember the day the gatekeeper at my work place who had refused to open the gate for me because I was wearing a garment, saw me in one of the Pentecostal churches preaching the gospel of Christ to the people, he was beyond surprised. Since then, he never attacked me with “eto” issues again”. No one can take the pride I have for being a Seraph, I tell everyone that I’m a Seraph with a distinct, he added.
There is actually something special about real Seraphs who are the true breed of Christ, excellence and success ain’t too hard for them to get. Seraph Olaitan graduated from the Nigerian institute of Journalism and ever since then, he has been very active in the media world, he is an editor with Multichoice Nigeria, owners of DSTV. Good to note, the chain of his career in cinematography and media consultancy has never experienced any backward shift. Little wonder, one of his media establishments covered the power packed vigil tagged “Night of Restoration” held at Seraphim Land Maba, also he was a member of the planning committee of one of the biggest Christian programs in Africa, Celebrate the Comforter 2019, organised by Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi.
While recounting how God has been using him in different wings of the church, Seraph Olaitan recalled that he once served as the pioneer Secretary of the youth fellowship in his mother church CSMC Divine Blessing Cathedral that houses the palatial YF House of Prosperity, a former Public Relations Officer (PRO) of YF CSMC Lagos/Ogun zone before he was finally ordained as the President of Youth Fellowship of CSMC Victory District.
While he was giving a note of advice to other members of fold, he said Yes! I know that there are quite a number jokers and wrong men on the altar today, but I know one day God will drive every wolf in human clothing out of the C&S fold completely. On that day we will all witness the beauty of the Cherubim and Seraphim church of our dreams. Until then, let’s all who are the true breed of Christ never relent in doing the works of He who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Reasonably, Seraph Olaitan is happily married to the love of his life, Olubukola Oloruntoyin and they are blessed with lovely children.
