Cherubim and Seraphim Church Unification Campus Fellowships is an arm of the mother C&S Churches and students who are from homes where their parents are C&S members gather together in their various higher institutions of learning to worship God according to tenets of faith obtainable in the Church.
Apart from the spiritual needs that Unification Campuses also known as ISOKAN provides, it has also been a training ground to aid growth and development. A lot of activities in the fellowship give room for the members to learn leadership, mentorship, followership, career, relationship, and other affairs of life.
Several graduates who passed through the process can attest to this fact. Many of them had leveraged on the experiences gained from the fellowship to further their career, relationship, and connection.
Amidst the coronavirus outbreak that has led to the forceful closure of all schools across the globe, these young champions and soldiers of Christ did not allow the current situation to weigh them down. They keep on burning for Christ. The majority has resulted to online service, worshipping God through various mediums. There are records of divine touch, healing, and impartation through the service.
Our correspondent who took a survey of how different fellowships held their services, maintained that it has been a mind-blowing experience. “God has indeed been moving in their midst.”
Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Chapter with the appellation of “House of Glory” sticks to 12:00 p.m as their worship time on Sundays, while Wednesday and Friday services commence by 6:00 p.m. One of the members we reached out to maintain that “it has indeed been a glorious experience despite the school closure and I don’t for anything miss the timing.”
The Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Chapter (OSUSTECH) normally holds their Bible study on Wednesday between 7-9 p.m, and it sometimes come in form of seminar.
The Nigerian Premier University, University of Ibadan Unification Chapter codes their service “i-church” and holds the service on Tuesday between 7-9 p.m with different topics extensively discussed after which prayer is rendered.
Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai Chapter’s leadership created a room on Facebook and have been holding their services there. Just like other chapters, the duties and services management is being shared among executives and members.
Kwara State University Chapter is not left out as every Wednesday between the hours of 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m has been scheduled for online service.
While the leadership of each chapter waits for further instructions from the Central Executive Committee, the apex Unification body on when physical service should begin upon the recent lockdown relax from the Federal Government, the experience so far has been thrilling and it has further shown that “God is beyond four walls, He’s everywhere”!
