Special Apostle Pastor George Ogunleye has been appointed as the Chairman and General Leader of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Surulere District.
Until his appointment, the clergy was the District Secretary of the church.
Elder Ogunleye’s new position also followed the demise of the former Chairman and General Leader of the church, late prophet Sunday Funsho Korode who passed unto glory on Sunday 26th November, 2023.
The new General Leader will be performing his first official assignment today as the church marks the 9th Memorial Lecture Scholarship and Bursary Awards in honour of Special Apostle for Evangelism Prophet (Dr.) Gabriel Olubunmi Fakeye with the topic, “Economic Growth and Sustainability in Nigeria- Exploring the Religious Platform for Wealth Creation”.
The Guest Speaker at this event is Special Mother-in- Israel Prof. Martina Iyabode Oguntoyinbo- Atere.
