Why I resisted Esther Ajayi from visiting MOU site – Prof. Sanni

The chairman Planning and Implementation Committee of Moses Orimolade University (MOU) Emeritus Professor Adebayo Sanni has recalled how he initially resisted Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi of the Love of Christ Generation Church, London, from visiting the permanent site of the institution when she offered to.

Prof. Sanni, while delivering a speech during the just concluded Passionate Night of Breakthrough held at the University premises in Omu-Aran Kwara state, said the Supreme head of the fold, His Most Eminence Prophet Dr Solomon Adegboyega Alao, notified him of the need to bring the renowned philanthropist to the site but he (Sanni) rather turned down the request.

According to him, it was needless taking the female cleric to the site as there was nothing tangible to show her.

He, however, claimed to have expressed surprised at her response to the project after she was eventually taken to the location.

“I was surprised to receive Rev. Mother Esther’s call after her visit to the site, wondering what’s wrong with this woman.”

“Immediately after her visit she telephoned me and said that “Jesus Christ has entered the site”. Indeed, Rev. Mother Esther was right with her assertion because since her visit to the site, there has been awesome changes, Prof Sanni remarked.

He further maintained that Rev. Mother Ajayi has been a source of blessing to the entire fold, noting that not only did she commented on the bad state of  the road leading to the site but also reimbursed the committee to commence a befitting University gate as a matter of urgency.

Prof. Sanni who also recalled how he was invited to be part of the committee could not hide his joy over the new dawn of happenings at the university site.

While thanking Baba Olori on behalf of other members of the committee, he said that the spiritual leader has shown genuine interest and an unbelievable commitment to the progress of the university project since he assumed office.

In his words, there has been a lot of challenges with fund being the major one confronting us as a committee, but thank God a ray of light showed in the tunnel since the present Baba Olori assumed office.

He urged all Seraphs to rise up and be part of this great project.
