Prophetess Oluwatoyin Dabiri, a notable revivalist in the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, last week Thursday held her birthday thanksgiving where she also played host to a few guest ministers, including Pastor Segun Michael.
The central point of the event which was streamed on her Facebook platform was the unveiling of her ministry called “Broken but not Useless”.
Elated by the eventual launch of the ministry days after running a countdown, Dabiri made a startling revelation of what inspired it; a revelation reminiscent of her travails in the past and how God showed up in the midst of it.
In an audience with Acts of Seraphs, the outspoken Seraph who also attends CSMC Amazing Grace District said that the inspiration to start the ministry was an exponential and revelatory one.
“The ministry was given to me as an inspiration from God. It was an exponential and revelatory one. God made me look back into my past and spoke to me from Isaiah 61, telling me about many people who have lost it in the beginning and lost hope, but whom He (God) want to give them a better future,” she said.
Speaking on what she plans to achieve with the ministry, she said it would help people establish their feet again and believe in themselves. She also noted that it was going to be interdenominational.
“The world should be expecting a better tomorrow. It is a ministry established to help people establish their feet again and believe in themselves. It is a non-denominational ministry meant to cut across the world. God will be helping us to make people see reasons to be pulled up. We are cutting across every gender and also against molestation. We say no to molestation. Those who are victims will be given hope that indeed they are not useless,” Dabiri disclosed.
She, however, hinted that most of the programmes would, for now, run on social media, thereby hosting people to talk about their experiences and look at it, spiritually.
Prophetess Dabiri also reminded believers and non-believers of the limited time here on earth. While she urged believers to stand firm in Christ and be focused on Him, she admonished non-believers, saying it is not too late to come to Christ. “I pray we will all rapture with him,” she added.
