CSMC Prophetess Delivers Baby ‘Horeb’ Hours Before Ordination

Hearty congratulations poured in for Prophetess Titilayo Adeyemi after she gave birth to a baby boy during the ascension of Mount Horeb at Galilee Land, Orile-Igbon in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

The Prophetess in Training (PIT) went into labour on Thursday less than 24 hours before her ordination. She was subsequently taken to the newly-built conference clinic and attended to by the doctors and nurses on duty.

The General Secretary of the International Council of Prophets and Prophetesses, Prophet Abiodun Ogunsakin, announced the baby’s arrival on Friday during a roll call of members set to be ordained. Prophet Ogunsakin, who allowed the new mother to be anointed without having to join the long queue, suggested that the child be named Horeb Adeniran Alogbo.

Reacting to the name, Prophetess Adeyemi, a member of Ida Oluwa District in Ekiti State, said she would adopt it as part of the list of names to give to her son during christening. Speaking to Acts Of Seraphs after her ordination, she also expressed gratitude to God for a safe delivery.

“It is a blessing for me and my household to have delivered a baby on this mountain. I give glory to God for that. I also consider the name worthy and they will be part of the names he will bear. I did not expect that I would go into labour here. Although I came here heavily pregnant, through the grace of God, it turned into a blessing for me,” she said.

Head of the Mount Horeb medical team, Prophet Elijah Ajao, described the childbirth as significant, adding that the delivery was the first in the newly-built clinic.

He said, “We give glory to God because the birth of the baby marks the beginning of joy, as the ordination today signifies the start of a new beginning for the ordained and the chairman of the council. Deliveries during programmes like this started in Kaduna. We have also assisted in delivering some babies since we arrived here. The first child born here in Galilee Land was named Horeb. However, this is the first childbirth in the newly-built clinic.”

The 55th ascension programme tagged, “Anointed For Good Tidings Isa 61:1-3” commenced on Monday and rounded off with a thanksgiving service on Sunday.
