The New Seraph Seeks Positive Shift In C & S, Unveils NODE 8.0

The New Seraph Evangelical Ministries has called for what it described as a “paradigm shift” in the operations of the church as it unveiled plans for its 2026 Annual General Conference and the 8th edition of its global prayer programme, Night of Divine Experience (NODE 8.0).

The Founder, Her Grace Iya Aladura General, Dr Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye (JP), made this known while addressing newsmen at The New Seraph Prayer City, Km 60, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, New Seraph Bus Stop, Ode Remo, By Sapade Overhead Bridge, Ogun State.

According to her, the conference would focus on reviewing the past, assessing the present and charting a new direction for the future of the church.

She noted that the church, which recently marked its centenary, must now focus on strengthening its relevance and impact post-centenary.

She said, “Conferences are for deliberations towards reviewing our past, our present, and to chart a new course for the future. Here at The New Seraph, our commission as a body of Christ is simply to evangelise and tell the world more about the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

“We are so aware that the church of God will continue to march on and the gates of hell shall not prevail, but what are we doing in shaping the future of the church post-centenary? After the centenary celebration, what should the entire world look out for?”

“Nobody would like to be stagnant forever. We will be using this year’s Annual General Conference to address salient issues under fruitful deliberations by renowned speakers and panellists on what can be done better post-centenary. For us to move as a church, it is our collective responsibility and we all have to ensure there is a positive shift in all we do,” she said.

According to her, the 2026 Annual General Conference, scheduled to hold from May 7 to May 9, will focus on repositioning the church for greater impact.

The cleric added that the discussions aimed to achieve “a paradigm shift” within the church.

Yomi-Sholoye also announced the official unveiling of NODE 8.0, describing it as a global prayer convergence that has become a platform for testimonies and spiritual revival.

She disclosed that it would hold from August 19 to August 21, 2026, at The New Seraph Prayer City, Ode-Remo, Ogun State.

She said, “NODE has become a prophetic altar where destinies are rewritten, yokes are broken and the fire of revival is rekindled across nations. From NODE 1.0 to 7.0, we have seen countless testimonies. To God be the glory.”

“This year’s edition will be historic. NODE 8.0 will feature 72 hours of non-stop prayer, worship, word, prophetic release, youth hour, musical night and humanitarian outreach,” she said.

She added that the church was expecting over 300,000 physical worshippers, while millions would participate virtually across its media platforms.

“We are believing God for over 300,000 physical worshippers and millions connecting globally via The New Seraph TV, Facebook, YouTube and all Seraph platforms,” she added.

The cleric also outlined key activities for the three-day annual conference, including worship sessions, panel discussions, business meetings, lectures and thanksgiving services.

She said dignitaries, royal fathers, government representatives and religious leaders were expected to attend the opening ceremony.

Among speakers billed for the conference are Pastor Festus B. Taiwo and other clerics and panelists drawn from within and outside the church.

Yomi-Sholoye urged members of the press to support the publicity of the programmes, adding that adequate security and logistics arrangements had been put in place for participants.

She said, “We plead with you to go home from here and prepare yourselves as we would also like to have you grace our Annual General Conference and NODE 8.0 this year.”

It is with great pleasure that I welcome each and every one to this Press Conference which is geared towards telling more about the forthcoming *Annual General Conference of The New Seraph*, scheduled to commence *Thursday, 7th May, 2026 till Saturday, 9th May, 2026*, and the official *Unveiling of Night of Divine Experience – NODE 8.0*.

We know so well that the essence of the Press as the 4th Estate of the realm cannot be overemphasized, hence our call to have you here today.

*WHAT ARE CONFERENCES FOR?*

Conferences are for deliberations towards reviewing our past, our present, and to chart a new course for the future.

Here at The New Seraph, our commission as a Body of Christ is simply to *EVANGELIZE* and tell the world more about the Gospel of Christ Jesus and, of course, to uphold the mandate of the Founder of Cherubim & Seraphim – *Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase*.

This is the Mission that the Lord has placed in our hearts and, having been in existence for over a decade now, it is necessary we review where we were, where we are, and where we look forward to be in the nearest future.

And with the Theme of this year’s Annual General Conference which says *REVIVE US O LORD*, taken from *Lamentations 5:21* — _“Turn thou us unto thee, O Lord, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old”_ — permit me to let you into those things you should know about this Year’s Annual General Conference of The New Seraph.

May I use this medium to inform you all that our dear Cherubim & Seraphim Church celebrated her *Centenary* last year. For a church to have existed for 10 decades and the church is still waxing stronger and stronger, this is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our sight.

Having said that, we are so aware of course, that the Church of God will continue to march on and the gate of hell shall not prevail, but what are we doing in *shaping the future of the church post-centenary*?

After Centenary Celebration, what should the entire world look out for?

You will agree with me that definitely, nobody would like to be on a spot, being stagnant forever; not even our dear Cherubim & Seraphim. Hence, we at The New Seraph will be using this year’s Annual General Conference to address certain salient issues under fruitful deliberations by Renowned Speakers and Panelists from several Conferences of the Church on what they think can be done better *post-centenary*.

And what do we intend achieving while doing all this?

Very Simple!
*A PARADIGM SHIFT*

For us to move as a Church, it is our collective responsibility and *WE ALL* have to ensure there is a positive shift in all we do.

If you ask me, I will say that the C&S Church of today is growing and what should be topmost in our hearts is how to make it grow the more to God’s Glory.

*UNVEILING OF NIGHT OF DIVINE EXPERIENCE – NODE 8.0*

As we gather to be revived at AGC 2026, I am also delighted to officially *Unveil the 8th Edition of our Global Prayer Convergence: NIGHT OF DIVINE EXPERIENCE – NODE 8.0*.
