“The Throne” set to drop March 13, as Fere Jesu, Ty Breath speak on new single

The duo of Fere Jesu and Ty Breath have announced the release date of their new single titled – The Throne.

Being their first major collaboration, an extract of the song will be out on March 1, while the full track will be released on March 13.

This was made known during a press briefing at the weekend, as the two seraphs spoke exhaustively on the new single.

According to them, the Throne is a spirit filled and spirit lifting sound that will bless souls across the globe, just as it will also foster more intimacy and fellowship with God.

On how it was concieved, they revealed that “The Throne is a sound which was given to Fere Jesu after his graduation at The vessel’s academy 2.0 with Pastor Adewole Adesanya (Mr Wols) which was mainly for Gospel Ministers in the year 2019. It was then structured by Fere Jesu’s  Pianist, Adedire David.

“Few weeks after receiving the sound, Fere Jesu was instructed by God to Feature Ty~Breath in the production process . After the given instruction  , the recording process started in late 2020 which was produced by Eskeez.”

Prior to their current work, Fere Jesu and Ty Breath have been engaged in several projects which include – ‘Ninu irin Ajo mi’ (My Journey) and ‘Won to bebe fota re’ (Ye that pleaded for thy enemy).

It would also be recalled that they both performed at the 2019 edition of Seraph Mega Praise Concert which held at Seraphim Land, Maba.

Fere Jesu whose real name is Adekale Babatunde is a graduate of Mass Communication from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and has attended several master classes in music.

While speaking separately, he emphatically noted that the Throne is not just a music but a sound. He also explained how he had to seek the face of God before he could give the song a title.

“The track was without a title when it was first concieved. So I had to start sending it to people whom I believed could help me give it a title, but I was not satisfied with the ones they kept giving me. So I had to seek the face of God. And after a period of time of doing so, God gave me this particular title it currently bears,” he said.

Meanwhile, TY Breath, whose real name is Osituga Temitayo, says the song was unique in such a way that she didn’t write the lyrics before she went to the studio.

The final year student of the Department of Nursing Science at the Lagos State University also noted that every of her lines were inspired by the Holy Spirit, as they all flowed spontaneously while recording her part.

“The song was not the normal type where we sit and try to compose lyrics. It was more of the leading of the Holy Spirit. When we got to the studio and the producer asked us to enter the booth, what we only had then was the “Mimo Mimo” line of the track. But God directed us throughout the production, including the instrumentalists,” she disclosed.

The single will be made available on  online music platforms, once released.
