Weeks after the demise of Senior Superintendent Apostle Elijah Olufemi Adepoju, funeral activities marking the journey to his final place of rest have commenced.
The late cleric who passed away on Saturday, July 25, will be committed to mother earth on Friday, September 3, in Ibadan, Oyo state.
Being the first camp chairman, the youth fellowship of C&S Unification Church of Nigeria, Lagos state chapter, on Monday joined the members of Eternal Youth Fellowship to hold a service of songs in his honour.
The well attended programme which held in his Ikorodu residence was not without compliance with the government’s guidelines on the coronavirus pandemic.
This is as members of the fellowship took turns to pay glowing tributes in respect to his impact in their lives.
While delivering his sermon, the pioneer chairman of the youth fellowship, Lagos state chapter, Bro Ayodele Oyebokun, harped on the need to live a purpose driven life. He described this as a very paramount thing to do while on earth.
He equally charged the attendees to have a relationship with God in all their dealings in life.
The burial programme continues today, as the alumni of JASFEM, as well as the New Seraph hold service of songs in his honour by 4pm.
