The Day Lagos Stands Still For Celebrate The Comforter 2019

Even as the euphoria is yet to subside, witnesses of Celebrate the Comforter 2019 may not as well recover from the deluge of divine encounters that characterized the programme anytime soon.

Was it the population turnout, or the series of performances that were put up, or even the mind blowing testimonies of ministers like Ayomide whose entire life just took a great turn around for good and Yinka Ayefele who just became a proud father of three?

Comforter 2019 has sure made it to the record books as one of the largest gathering of Celestials and Seraphs the world over. Being the third in its series, how overwhelming can the consolidation of forces be?

For Reverend Esther Ajayi, this is a vision that the Comforter had set in her heart. As the popular hymn of the C&S says. ” Emi mimo lo n dari wa,
Ti enikan ko le mo
Afi awon ti a fi iran na han
Lo mo ijinle re”.

The event which was graced by mammoth crowd of both folds and had in attendance several dignitaries and celebrities such as former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor of Lagos state, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Spiritual head of the Celestial Church Reverend Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Spiritual Head of the C&S church His Eminence Baba Aladura Solomon Alao, spiritual father of Ona iwa mimo, His Eminence JA Ibikunle, spiritual father of Eternal Sacred C$S church, His Eminence Baba MIO Ebahor JP, Spiritual father of Agbo Jesu, His Eminence Olusegun Akintobi, SK Abiara of CAC, Mother Philip Idowu (aka Iya Rainbow), Prophet Isreal (aka Genesis), Chief Ebenezer Obey, Sammy Okposo.

Others include: Queen Selawa Abeni and her London Based friend Iyalode Mojisola who dressed same as mama Esther.

Flooding the VIP section were members of C$S church from London most of which comprised the host church members – Love of Christ Generation Church, UK.

Also present were scores of royal fathers led by the Ooni of Ife., His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II

Seraphs, Celestials, charged to remain pure

The members of the Cherubim and Seraphim fold and the Celestial Church of Christ were in the course of the event urged to remain pure and avoid bringing anymore stains on both folds.

Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi made this known in her exhortation at the annual program “Celebrate the Comforter”, which was held at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos on Saturday.

In her words, “As we are trying to wash the fold, please don’t go back to the mud and not let evil be said against the churches, watch how you behave and live. May the Comforter comfort you. A lot of churches are looking at us and we have to be careful of what we do. Now that we have gained our confidence back, we have to watch how we speak and live. The bible must come first, instead of gossiping read the bible, make it your friend”, stated the Reverend Mother.

She likewise reminded the congregants to be prepared for the coming of the Comforter so as not to be caught off-guard.

Giving his goodwill message, the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II bestows his appreciation on the founders of both folds, noting that though both founders are late, yet their legacy still speak volumes, even in unity, “This good thing has come to our country ans is being made know to the world, both folds are sitting together in unity”.

Leading the congregants in a prayer session, Dr. S.K Abiara appreciated God for the life of the life of Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi, her husband, Rev’d (Dr) Muyiwa Ajayi and the love of Christ Generation Ministry for their love and generosity to mankind. He pointed out that the integrity and humility of the couple is second to none.

Celebrate the Comforter 2019 appeared as the largest gathering of White garment worshippers without discrepancies under a unified ministration in Africa. The event brought together Seraphs, Celestials and other Christian faithful all around the globe to celebrate the unity and the beauty of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The convener and founder of the LOC Mother Esther Ajayi and her husband Reverend Dr. Ademuyiwa Ajayi had earlier opened the event with their welcome address, as they honoured God Almighty and appreciated dignitaries present. They also extended their sincere love to Seraphs/Celestial that turned out across the world to make the event a success.

After several auditions and consistent rehearsals, the outcome of the well organised mass choir of the day was colourful as they donned decent and beautiful attires with their blue customized cape, cap and taped girdle which bore the inscription “Seraph/Celestial Choir” on their newly sewn white garments.

Their performance and presentation were indeed glorious as their angelic voices were highly echoed and spirit filled.

The appearance of the Army of Salvation brigades can’t be ignored as their march pass and parade while presenting the national and church flag brought uniqueness to the event and honour God.

Drama ministration by the Nigeria and UK based LOC drama group was well delivered with an excellent message to people at large which focused on Unity between White garments church and parents to stop discrimination while choosing spouse for their children.

Even the vibrant minister of God from CCC, Prophet Isreal Genesis also released raw words of the scriptures to back up his own sessions of ministrations.

Marvellous stage renditions of Songs and live comedy displayed by invited guest artistes were indeed exceptional.

Attached with the excitement of the event was the testimony of Yinka Ayefele who has become the first Nigeria Gospel Artiste to be the father of Triplet after 25years of waiting. He testified this while on stage to perform and shared his story of how mama Esther Ajayi prayed for him last year and assured him that God is able to do all things which is now a reality.

Ayomide, also known as the orange boy performed live having met with his God destined helper, as Mama Esther Ajayi promised to sponsor the him to his university level and has employed a music coach to tutor him in preparation for his album release soonest.

Without doubt, Oni of Ife was greatly excited while addressing the crowd and appreciating God in his own way, giving reference to the king of Kings and the master of Universe.

In the history of Nigeria event, the populated gathering of white garments churches across the 36 states and abroad can’t be forgotten. Departure from the venue to various destinations was safe with over 300 BRT buses allocated to different locations to carter for peoples transportation and Luxurious buses assigned to people outside Lagos proved how God himself has truly approved the event and made it a success.

In an interview with Anuolluwapo Adeyemi, a corp member from Badagry, she said the event has set good standard for White garment folds over the world and has help to redeem the good name of the church but hope this event will not cease to have a yearly recurrence of it in Nigeria yearly even if it will have another theme because this large audience await another edition of such unity service of white garment worshippers especially in Nigeria come 2020.

The famous Woli -Agba led the audience into endless laughter before the comforter mass choir gave the closing presentation followed by great sounds of fireworks to mark the close of 2019 Celebrate the comforter at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, Nigeria.
