The president of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Most Reverend Daniel Okoh, has said the Supreme Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church, His Most Eminence Pro. Dr. Solomon Alao Jpil was among those who groomed him in his Christian journey.
He made this known during a reception dinner heralding his new tenure as CAN leader held in Lagos on Tuesday.
Okoh, who extolled the virtues of the C & S leader, said they had both come a long way. He also described him as being supportive.
He said, “You’ve been quite supportive. You’ve been a father having come a long way. When we mention the late Dr. Otubu, we all sat at the same table with him, though I was the youngest then. You all joined hands together to groom me to be who I am today. Your presence today means so much to us.”
Speaking about his wife, Mother Prophetess Folashade Alao JP, in the same vein, he said, “And I will also say that Mama has always been around in our service. In one of our meetings in May, she insisted that she would do a donation in her own name, and she always does that. Baba, she is here not as your dear wife, but has Mama in her own right. We recognize and will always appreciate you for your presence all the time.”
